100 Litres Of Bhutan Made, IMFL Seized In Chirang


KOKRAJHAR, MAR 19: After putting maximum effort into checking and conducting raids ahead of the assembly election in the district, the Static Surveillance Teams and Flying Squads in association with police personnel on Friday evening seized around 100 litres of Bhutan made liquor and Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) at Dadgari, near the Indo-Bhutan border.

The teams conducted a raid at that area based on an intelligence input and recovered that huge quantity of liquor from an abandoned house.

District administration Chirang and police have been taking strict steps to ensure peace and smoothly successful of the upcoming assembly elections in the district, said a senior police official.
