98 COVID-19 Positive Case In Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR, APRIL 20: The toll of COVID-19 positive has gone up to 98 on Tuesday evening with reports of 19 positive fresh case detected in entire Kokrajhar district in the wake of second wave of COVID-19 situation.
A total 1325 RAT was collected across the district where 19 were detected fresh positive case and accordingly 98 were diagnosed active positive case.
Among the active positive case, 11 hospitalised, 83 home isolation and 4 referred active.
District administration and health department are jointly taking strict steps to ensure good and healthy life protection among the society in the district.
Meanwhile, a review meeting was held on COVID-19, chaired by BTR chief executive member (CEM) Pramod Boro at BTC Secretariat conference Hall on Tuesday in Kokrajhar.
BTR CEM Boro has asked details of stock of medicines, ICU rooms, PPE kits, treatment centres, in all four districts of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) to the Director & joint Director health services of Kokrajhar & deputy commissioner Kokrajhar.
Suggestions regarding, DC, Kokrajhar district said that Covid testing centres may extend to the Railway station again, and also W. Bengal boarder and previous Covid treatment centres may again re-open as Covid treatment Hospital etc. Meeting was attended by BTR executive members for health services, Arup Kumar Dey, Reo Reoa Narzihary, BTC MCLA Wilson Hasda, BTR Principal Secretary, DC Kokrajhar District, Secretaries of BTC, Doctors, DPM Kokrajhar, Director of Education, Director of Food & Civil supply and other officers of BTC Secretariat.
