KOKRAJHAR, AUG 3: All BTC Minority Students Union (ABMSU) has hailed the CBI’s publicly declared names of three prime accused of Lafikul Islam Ahmed murder case on Monday.
Addressing the reporters today at a press conference held at ABMSU central office Bhotgaon in Kokrajhar ABMSU general secretary Taison Hussain has welcomed the CBI’s publicly declaration of prime accused persons and extended sincere thanks to the CBI team for carrying investigation step.
He said that the ABMSU hails the CBI’s publicly declared names of prime accused of Lafikul Islam Ahmed murder case on Monday.
He has demanded early identification of main master mind of the murder case of Lafikul and punished them through the proper investigation.
He said that the ABMSU wants justice through the deep investigation and CBI must publish the detail investigation reports into Lafikul murder case publicly as ABMSU and minority peoples are waiting in a proper way.
” The CBI must communicate with proper way with family members of Lafikul to find out political leader’s involvement. The main master mind and involved culprits must be identified and punished them”, he said adding that ABMSU expresses their suspect that there is not only three persons of main culprits, but there might be more persons behind the murder case.
Meanwhile, Baddreswar Basumatary and Dingkur Mushahary, two of three prime accused of Lafikul Islam Ahmed murder case have not been communicating with his family members since 2017.
Notably, on Monday, CBI publicly announced the names of prime accused for involved with Lafikul murder case.
Family members of the Baddreswar Basumatary said that no information about whereabouts of his presence till date since four years. Basumatary was lived at BPF party office in Kokrajhar and was a small contractor in the area.He was a father of 6 year old son.
Family members have expressed their miserable condition that Baddreswar Basumatary haven’t seen since four years and don’t know whereabouts he is now.
They said that the CBI and police always come at the house to take information about Baddreswar.
“We do hope one-day Baddreswar Basumatary will come back at his house”, said Basumatary’s wife.
