ABSU Holds Orientation Program For Civil Service Aspirants


Kokrajhar, June 25: An orientation programme for the aspirants of civil service and other competitive examinations was held at Science College Auditorium in Kokrajhar on Saturday.

Organised by All Bodo Students Union (ABSU), former APSC member Prafulla Hazowary inaugurated the orientation. Director of BEACON IAS institute New Delhi Jitendra Kumar, Kokrajhar Superintendent of Police Prateek Thube attended the program and delivered lectures. Various aspects were discussed in detail the entire syllabus of civil services examination conducted by the UPSC and suggested a comprehensive step by step strategy to prepare for both the Preliminary and the Mains examination.

ABSU President Dipen Boro said the student union is organising the special orientation program for civil services aspirants and students for 6 days at 6 different locations starting from 25th June at Kokrajhar, 26th June at Bijni (Chirang), 27th June at Mushalpur (Baksa), 28th June at Udalguri, 29th June at Tezpur and 30th June at Guwahati.

He said the objective is to create awareness in the minds of the Bodo students and aspirants of civil service examinations on how to prepare for civil services.
