KOKRAJHAR, OCT 31: The All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) has urged newly appointed chief secretary of Assam Jishnu Baruah for cooperation and necessary initiatives in regard to the implementation of clauses of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) accord properly in days to come.
A three member delegation team of All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) led by its president Dipen Boro today met newly appointed chief secretary Baruah at Janata Bhawan in Guwahati and welcomed him with bunch of flowers.
“There was a positive meeting and discussion with Baruah while welcoming him on his first day in office today. The meeting discussed over the BTR accord implementation especially to meet good governance”, Boro said.
He informed that ABSU appealled to him for cooperation and necessary initiatives in regard to BTR accord implementation.
“There was also had a separate discussion and submission of memorandum to the commissioner and secretary, home and political department J D Triparthi at Janata Bhawan today regarding boundary commission implementation”, Boro added.
