ABSU Urges Govt For Rescue Initiative For Stranded Students


KOKRAJHAR, FEB 27: The All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) has urged the government of India to take an initiative for the rescue of stranded students in war affected Ukraine with an immediate step.

In a press statement on Sunday, ABSU general secretary Khanindra Basumatary said that the students union after seeing the plight of the students from Assam and entire country stranded in Ukraine is heart touching and scary.

” In solidarity with the affected victims in the war strive Ukraine, ABSU appeals to the government of India and Assam state to take prompt action to rescue all the stranded students and civilians from the warring state”,nthe ABSU leader said adding that on the humanitarian crisis and loss to both the warring states for the cause of peace in the world and Ukraine”.

The students union also appeals to stop the war for prevailing peace and harmony among the world countries.
