ABSU warns to take democratic agitation in Bodoland University

KOKRAJHAR, OCT 7: The All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) warns to take democratic agitation in Bodoland University from Thursday on demand of 50% percent syllabus concession question paper for the students of 6th semester for under graduate courses in Bodoland University.

Addressing the reporters  at a press conference held at Bodofa House today in Kokrajhar, ABSU Education Secretary,  Kastom Basumatary has expressed his  concern for not allotting syllabus curriculum concession for the students of 6th semester under graduate courses  in Bodoland University in the ongoing COVID 19 Pandemic in the state.

He has demanded 50% percent syllabus concession for the students in Bodoland University for the students of 6th semester of under graduate courses in the university. He said that due to COVID 19 Pandemic, all classes in the college and universities were not held, so students must get syllabus concession opportunities in their higher studies. ” If Gauhati University, Cotton University can provide syllabus concession, why not Bodoland University in the region”, he said.

He has warned to carry out a democratic protest in front of Bodoland University from 8th October on demand of syllabus concession for the students. He said that the students union stage protest demonstration in the university for pressurising the university authority to get 50% syllabus concession.
