KOKRAJHAR, JAN 6: ‘ There would be no tolerance on any forms of corruption and anomaly practices in the offices of education department as well in all line departments across the four districts under Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR)”, said BTC chief executive member Pramod Boro.
On Wednesday, a review meeting of BTC chief executive member Pramod Boro with Amarjyoti Barman, ACS, Secretary (Education) alongwith Jagadish Prasad Brahma, AES,
Director of Education with all officers of education department under BTR area was held on at BTC Secretariat Conference Hall, Bodofa Nwgwr in Kokrajhar.
The meeting discussed thoroughly on the strategically educational uplift building up in BTR area and emphasised to stop any corruption practices in the offices of education department under BTR area.
Boro said that the corruption and anomalies practices must be eradicated through the dedication of wholeheartedly services to meet better governance.
He said that the pensions to the retired teachers must be released as soon as retired and they should not be face any hardships while they are getting their job supernation.
The meeting has decided to rationalize the teachers while maintaining better educational services.
” There is needed identification the in active teachers if required which may be transferred to other department”, Boro said.
He said that the infrastructure status of school with deteriorated condition of school building must be listed and prepared a detail strategy.
The meeting discussed deeply on the furniture bench & desk supplied to the schools not any record in BEEO/DEEO/DI office as directly supplied to schools to be found out.
In the meeting, it has been highlighted that many schools are not electrified till date for which why running of drinking water could not be provided in the school since long years.
In BTR area, there are huge number’s of vacancies in the education department since long years and accordingly, filling up of vacancy of teachers are very late i.e. long years gap may be filled up soon.
Boro has asked education department officials to take strong initiative while bringing educational better services as well creating quality educational environment in the BTR areas in days to come.
