APCC Chief Borah Slams NDA Alliance Government

KOKRAJHAR,JAN 31: Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Bhupen Kumar Borah has slammed the BJP led NDA alliance government in the state of Assam, said that the state government can’t work for the welfare and development of the common masses in the state due to insincerity attitudes towards the citizens of the state.

On Monday, APCC president Bhupen Kumar Borah visited in Kokrajhar to attend a party meeting held at Ranendra Bhawan Congress party office and interacted with party leader and workers.

Nearly 50 new members from different parties and organisations including BPF, UPPL, Trinamool Congress joined the Congress party in the presence of APCC president Bhupen Kumar Borah.

Borah welcomed and felicitated the newly joined members with traditional Phulam Gamocha.

Borah has accused that the NDA alliance government in the state has not been showing good sincerity towards the uplift and integration of the citizens in their reigning the state.

He has alleged that the BJP led NDA alliance government in Assam can’t work for the welfare and development of the common masses in the state as NDA government has not been stepping any well gestures towards the state’s welfare.

He has accused that the state government never think welfare aspects of the state because today BJP led NDA alliance government has been leaving the land of Assam state to the neighboring Meghalaya state. He said that Garo peoples from border area of state are going to the land of Meghalaya state due to insincerity attitudes of the state government itself.

He has expressed his resented over the government for not initiating any welfare and integrational steps while addressing the well-being of the state’s welfare.

Borah has claimed that his party was working towards the welfare and integration of the society and accordingly getting good response from all quarters of the community in the state.

‘ Congress party has been getting mass support in the state as well in various states including Punjab, West Bengal, Tripura, Uttarakhand etc. Congress party’s future is getting good response among the society in days to come”, Borah said.

He informed that the opposition Congress party has so far formed a committe for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections in the state headed by Opposition leader Debabrata Saikia and party has prepared necessary strategy for the Rajya Sabha elections.

He has expressed his hopeful that Congress is getting fruitful results in the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections in the state.

Borah said that his Poem (Kavita) is getting well response as he has highlighted about the government’s activities. He has slammed the chief minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma and state government for not able to carrying issues of the state.

On Union Budget, Borah said that the scheduled union budget (to be tabled on Tuesday) of the country is not seeing wellbeing for the common masses in the country.

He said that the BJP led NDA alliance government must highlight the populous budget for paving the way healthy welfare and development of the common masses as countrymen must get healthy development aspects.

He said that the union budget is only meant for corporate peoples and accordingly what common masses can aspects from the BJP led NDA alliance government in the country.
