BJP-BPF Alliance Only Inside In Assembly: CM Sarma


KOKRAJHAR, JAN 24: Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the BJP-BPF alliance has been made only inside the assembly, not in politically alliance in the government in the state as well Bodoland Territorial Region districts.

Dr Sarma said that the UPPL-BJP-GSP is running smoothly in the Bodoland Territorial Region districts and rendering services for the welfare and development of the citizens with integrated environment and no words of impact on the UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance.

He said that the alliance spirit of BJP and UPPL would continue in a healthy manner.

On the Nagaon encounter incident, Dr Sarma said that the investigation is going on with right direction and involved persons would be checked and punished whatever results find out after the investigation. He said that police was not instructed to make harrase or encounter on innocent common masses in the state. He said that guilty doers would be punished.

BTR CEM and UPPL president Pramod Boro said that there would be no impact on political aspects in Bodoland belts even after BPF comes to the alliance with BJP inside the assembly.

Boro said that UPPL led UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance government is committed to work with dedicatedly in the districts since it’s inception in the government.

Boro has accused that BPF wants only reign with taking opportunistic attitude and so it’s tendency is totally Subidabadi in it’s organisational spirit.

He said that his BTR government is working towards the welfare and integration among all sections of the society in the districts.

Meanwhile, Maneswar Daimary, former adviser of All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) tied the knot Champa Boro of Mwdaigami of Tamulpur on Monday at his Khargaon residence in Kokrajhar.

Daimary was associated with ABSU organisation since 22 years and involved with Bodoland movement, who is popularly well known among the Bodo society for active participation in the student’s welfare and integration in the state.

Champa Boro is an Master degree in Bodo (MIL), hailed from Tamulpur area of Baksa district.

The wedding was held with Bathow tradition which withnessed a grand manner amidst maintaining COVID protocol and attended from various corners of VIP,  VVIPs from different places.

An attractive decoration with beautiful Bathow Thanshali was erected at the wedding venue.

Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma,Assam assembly speaker Biswajit Daimary, cabinet minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma, BTR CEM Pramod Boro, deputy CEM Gabinda Chandra Basumatary and several VIP, VVIPs were attended the wedding reception.

Dr Sarma has extended his best wishes to the newly wed couple and wished a happy married life.
