BJP’s Door is Open for BPF Leaders: Ranjit Dass

KOKRAJHAR, NOV 12: “BJP’s door is open for leaders who are wanting to join from BPF party in the BJP party”, said Ranjit Kumar Dass, president of Assam state BJP.

Dass who is camping in Kokrajhar for three days for campaigning in support of party candidates from Wednesday.

On Thursday, Dass attended in a special executive meeting of Kokrajhar BK unit of BJP held at Gossaigaon.

The party discussed thoroughly on the strategy building up for party affairs as party is contesting in the ensuing BTC elections with their own party candidates. He has urged party leader and workers to devote wholeheartedly for bringing win of party candidates across the council.

Dass informed that the saffron party is fully prepared and necessary strategies are so far initiated in support and party candidates.

He said that BJP party is contesting in 26 seats and extending support to an independent candidate at Srirampur in Kokrajhar district.

He said that his party is winning absolute majority to form next BTC council with massive supports.

Dass informed that BPF MLA Emanuel Mushahary is joining the BJP on 20th November next. He said that several leader and members from BPF party are coming forward to join the BJP party as Rajya Sabha MP Biswajit Daimary has so far resigned from BPF party to join BJP party.

He said that BJP’s door always open for leaders from BPF party who are wanting to join the BJP party in days to come.

He has maintaining alliance with BPF at Dispur and Delhi informed that the saffron party is contesting own it’s candidates in the BTC council elections. He has indicated that no alliance has been maintained in the council.

“BJP has been contesting alone in BTC elections. We are going with our own strategies in participating the council elections”, Dass said.

On corruption and anomalies issue in BTC, Dass said that the BJP is checking into alleged perpetrated massive corruption and anomalies during the BPF ruled BTC administration in last in 17 years if saffron party voted to the power.

He said that corruption and anomalies must be stopped at any costs and citizens must get good governance with social integration.

Dass has opined that BJP party was working for all round development and welfare aspects across the state since it’s voted to the power in the state.

On Friday, Assam Health and Education minister and NEDA convenor Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma is arriving in Kokrajhar to address grand mass rallies at Salakati and Fakiragram constituencies.

Dr Sarma is arriving in the morning at Salakati ME school playground to address a grand rally in support of party candidate Kabita Basumatary.

Later, he would address another mass rally at Fakiragram for party candidate Atul Boro Dey (Champak Dey).
