Bodoland People’s Front(BPF) party has expressed its confidence of winning majority seats in ensuing general elections to the Bodoland Territorial Council(BTC). BPF party has fully geared up for participating the council elections for 40 member house of the BTC Legislative Assembly.
On Thursday, former BTC executive member and BPF candidate for Baukhungri constituency Doneswar Goyary addressed an election campaign at Tintila in Kokrajhar in support of his candidature, said that his candidature is getting massive support from all sections of the communities in the council elections.He said that BPF party is winning majority seats of the 40 member house of the BTC Legislative Assembly as BPF party was working for all round development of the council since its inception in the region. He said that peoples from all walks of life are coming forward to extend support and voting in favor of BPF party candidates in the council. He has promised to work more development in coming days if he voted to the power for fourth consecutive term from Baukhungri constituency.
Goyary has flayed on UPPL party for their cheating politics over the BTC election, said that UPPL party has been indulging in cheating words to attract the common voters in the council area. He said that UPPL party cannot do any welfare work as well development among the society.
On the other hand, UPPL party leaders have addressed an election campaign meeting at Bedlangmari for party candidate Pratibha Brahma.
Leaders from the UPPL party alleged that BPF ruled BTC administration totally failed to work for the welfare and development of the common masses in their 17 year rule in BTAD administration. They alleged that BPF party never think welfare and development of the citizens, so common masses are depriving their due rights and welfare aspects.
They have urged all sections of the citizens to come forward to extend support and voting in favor of UPPL party candidates in the ensuing BTC council elections. They claimed that this time UPPL party is Winn majority seats in the council elections.
