BPF Demands CBI Inquiry Into Alleged Encounter


KOKRAJHAR, SEP 23: Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) party has demanded CBI inquiry into the allegedly fake encounter killing persons at Lungsung area in Kokrajhar district which had killed two persons on 18th September last in Kokrajhar district.

On Thursday, former president of NDFB-S and BTC MCLA Saikhong Basumatary (B Saoraigwra) visited at the house of Jwngsar Mushahary, who was killed at an alleged encounter at Salguri village near Patgaon in Kokrajhar district.

Basumatary met family members of Jwngsar Mushahary and took stock about the incident of the encounter.

He has demanded a high level investigation into the alleged encounter incident which had killed two persons.

Meanwhile, a nine member delegation team of BPF party including three MLAs visited at the house of Jwngsar Mushahary at Salguri village near Patgaon.

The delegation team member was led by it’s BPF legislature party leader Durga Das Boro and members are included Rabiram Narzary, MLA, Charan Boro, MLA, BTC MCLAs Derhasat Basumatary, Prakash Basumatary, James Basumatary, Paniram Brahma, Rahindra Brahma and Prabhat Basumatary.

BPF leaders met family members of Jwngsar Mushahary and took stock about incident.

BPF leaders strongly condemned incident and expressed serious concern over the incident.

BPF party leaders demand CBI inquiry into the allegedly killed down two persons in the name of militancy activities in the region.

BPF delegation team extended solidarity to the family members and donated Rs.50,000 for a well being of the victim family members.

BPF MLAs Durga Das Boro and Rabiram Narzary have alleged that the state government and BTR administration to extend support to the victim family of Jwngsar Mushahary and Janak Kumar Brahma.

They also said that a BPF delegation will meet chief minister on Monday next where they will raise the issues of allegedly fake encounter killing and demanded stop of unnecessarily person killing in the districts.
