KOKRAJHAR, DEC 18: BTC chief executive member Pramod Boro has made a surprise visit at Rupnath Brahma (RNB) civil hospital in Kokrajhar today to inspect infrastructural facilities and medical services in the hospital.
Boro inspected all wards including labour room, OT room in the hospital besides interacted with doctor and nurses during his surprise visit.
He also interacted with patients who are under treatment in the respective wards in the hospital.
Notably, Boro made his surprise visit within four day of the swearing-in-ceremony as CEM of Bodoland Territorial Council.
He has expressed his unhappy with the infrastructural facilities in the hospital and revealed scarcities of human resources in the hospital.
He said that the hospital should be humanity services oriented to meet up the needy of the citizens as government has been taking strong initiative for properly dedication.
Boro said that the hospital would be well equipped with modern facilities.
He has urged all medical staffs to dedicate healthy health services in the council. He said that medical services must be properly rendered with dedication services.He said that infrastructures are not satisfied in the hospital as hospital is required.
He informed that necessary steps are being initiated after a thorough consultation with higher authority of the state government.
He said that his government is taking bold initiative for uplifting the health sector with necessary measures to reach out to the masses.
Superintendent of RNB civil hospital Dr A S Sarma told that BTC chief Boro has inspected medical where several scarcities in all aspects of the departments including men power. He said that the hospital must be needed upliftment.
He informed that CEM Boro took stock about the infrastructural facilities which are needed to be developed.
