BTC EM Gautam Das Denies Allegations

KOKRAJHAR,FEB 16: Bodoland Territorial Council executive member for Social welfare department Gautam Das has denied involvement with allegedly appointments of ICDS worker and helpers under Mazabat ICDS project in Udalguri district during the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown situation in July last.

Addressing the reporters at a press conference at his office chamber in BTC Secretariat on Monday, Das said that there was no reports of newly recruitment of ICDS worker and helpers in the Social welfare department and no any activities of conducting interview or steps were initiated in the department.

He has denied the allegations of corruption and anomalies leveled against the Social welfare department in a certain newspaper, said that the allegations which were put in the newspaper are totally baseless and fabricated.

He said that the Social welfare department has not conducted any interview or steps for recruitment of ICDS worker and helpers in the region.

He has emphasised of building an integrated and no any allegations of corruption and anomalies would be spared in the BTC administration.

Das has announced that a strict investigation would be carried out against the reported allegations of appointments of ICDS worker and helpers under Mazabat ICDS project.

“There is no record of conducting of interview and procedures for recruitment of ICDS worker and helpers under Social welfare department till date”, Das said.
