BTR CEM Pramod Boro Condemned The Manipur Ambush

KOKRAJHAR, NOV 14: Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) chief executive member Pramod Boro, president of All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) have condemned the Manipur ambush incident and demanded strict step against the militancy activities in the northeastern states.

Boro said that the ambushed on officials of Assam Riffle where seven persons including Colonel killed.

He has urged the union government and Home Minister Amit Shah to take strict action against the ambushed incident.

On the youths newly joined in ULFA-I, Boro has expressed his unhappy over the youths joined the ULFA-I organisation in the state. He has urged youths of the state to be involved with economic revolution to make healthy upliftment and development.

ABSU president Dipen Boro strongly condemned the ambushed on security forces in Manipur state on Saturday.

Boro has urged the militant members of the northearern states to shun violence and come to the mainstream to get healthy environment among the society.

He has expressed his serious concern over the newly joined of youths in ULFA-I organisation in the state recent and urged the youths to avoid the thinking about the joining the militant organisation.

” The society must get healthy environment and integration among the society,so no to arms struggle in today’s moment”, ABSU president said.

ABSU president Dipen Boro and general secretary Khanindra Basumatary in a press statement said that the students union is deeply Shocked and strongly condemn the inhuman barbaric attacks by the extremist on the 46 Assam Rifles convoy in Manipur’s Churachandpur district on 13th of November 2021 in which seven persons died including Assam Rifles Colonel Viplav Tripathi, his wife Anuja Tripathi and six year old son Abir Tripathi and four other brave soldiers. The four other brave soldiers are identified as Rfn Suman Swargiary, Rfn Khatnel Konyak, Rfn R P Meena and Rfn Shyamal Das. Rfn Suman Swargiary was the permanent inhabitant of the vill- Thaikarkuchi, Baram, Baksa, Assam and Rfn Shyamal Das was also inhabitant of Assam. The cowardly attack on Assam Rifles personnel is despicable and condemnable. The All Bodo Students Union strongly condemn this dastardly attack in the strongest possible terms and pay homage to those brave soldiers and condolences to the families of the bereaved and also pray for the injured personnel for early recovery.

The ABSU also do believe that the sacrifices of the brave security personnel shall not go in vain. All Bodo Students Union has appealed to the Govt of India to give justice to the affected families as soon as possible.
