BTR elections to be held in December 2020

NEWS DESK, OCT 12: BTC election was supposed to be conducted in last 4 April, of 2020 but due to COVID-19 pandemic, the Election Commissioner and the Assam Government postponed its Date in fear of being infection of the disease. There was not vivid information about the conduct of the BTC election from the Election Commissioner and Assam Government.

Recently, a couple of days Health, Education and Finance Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sharma in several meeting proclaimed that BTC election may be conducted in December.

It will be immense happiness for the people of BTR if the election will be conducted in December, 2020. Since the last March after submission of nominations, Candidates and Public of BTR are eagerly waiting the election to held, and they are enduring this lingering process of making the election.

As per the source, this BTC election has come to be the longest-running election in the world. It has become a memorable time for BTR, Assam and Indian election arena. It has been more than a half-year BTC election postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic. But according to the source of Health, Education and Finance Minister of Assam, BTC election may be conducted in December but yet a date for the election to be fixed.

It has been seeing through Social Media that a huge amount of public is participating in the election campaigns to the United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL). On the other hand, BPF is also campaigning in several places.
