KOKRAJHAR, DEC 14: The United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) led alliance UPPL-BJP-GSP government in Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) has so far completed one-year in it’s reign on Wednesday with paving a good governance in the region.
The BTR government organised a public meeting at Mushalpur in Baksa today to commemorate the first anniversary of the creation of a strong, peaceful, green and smart BTR which marking the one-year it’s journey in the government.
BTR CEM Pramod Boro said that his government has been emphasizing for bringing healthy welfare and development environment among the society since it’s inception to the power and taking bold initiative for more progress.
He has urged that the citizens must come forward while building an integrated environment with maintaining peace and harmony among all sections of the society across the state.
In the event, Assam state BJP president Bhabesh Kalita, Assam minister Pijush Hazarika, several leaders from UPPL, BJP and GSP participated.
In Kokrajhar, with the coinciding the first anniversary of BTR government, Assam minister for Transport, industries & commerce, skill employment and entrepreneurship, Chandra Mahan Patowary ceremonially launched the Bodoland skill, employment & entrepreneurship development mission today at a programme held at Bodofa Cultural Complex in Kokrajhar.
The mission was initiated by skill, employment & enterprenurship department (SEED) of Bodoland Territorial Region.
Patowary has expressed his hopeful that the mission will be creating skill empowerment and extending job opportunities among the coming up generations in the region.
He has urged young generations to take strong interest while becoming self skilled personality to gain up a healthy and successful life in days to come.
BTC executive member Dr Nilut Swargiary, Gossaigaon MLA Jiron Basumatary, BTC Principal Secretary Shantanu P Gotmare were also present in the event.
BTC executive member Wilson Hasda told that the mission has been highlighting about the creating job card in the region.
” It is an opportunity for booming skill development and job opportunities among the youths through the mission. We are committed to work for the welfare and development of the common masses in building a healthy environment among the society”, he said.
He said that presently peoples in BTR districts are getting healthy life leading as state and BTR government have jointly stepping to extend job opportunities among the common masses and accordingly launching various vision and mission while bringing skilled nurturing across the districts.
“The BTR government is stepping to reach out unemployed youths through the mission and hopeful that citizens as well young generations are getting opportunities of jobs employment”, Hasda added.
