Byson Found Death At Athiabari


KOKRAJHAR, MAY 31: Sensation prevail along the Serfanguri Narabari area in Kokrajhar district after two wild Byson come out from nearby deep jungle area under Kachugaon forest division.

The Bysons rushed the Athiabari area on Sunday morning as local peoples saw the movements of the Bysons.

Bysons reached the Serfanguri area from the India-Bhutan border jungle area under Kachugaon forest division.

A woman was received injuries due to hit by Bysons at Athiabari on Sunday northern part of the Serfanguri.

The woman was rushed the hospital for treatment.

Forest department officials and local peoples dispersed the Bysons from the Athiabari. However, one of the two Bysons was found death on Sunday evening inside the jungle area

The body of Byson have been done postmortem after recovery on Sunday.

Another Byson has been reportedly taking shelter at Narabari area near Serfanguri, even though forest department officials dispersed the Byson from the area.

On Monday, forest department officials and local police from Serfanguri are trying to rescue the Byson since morning, yet couldn’t rescue the Byson.

Several forest department officials including Wildlife trust of India and IFAW are camping at the Narabari area to rescue the Byson.

Kachugaon forest divisional officer, Raju Kumar Brahma and Athiabari forest range officer Kamalsingh Mushahary told that the forest department officials are trying to rescue the Byson from the area who is taking shelter at a small jungle area at Narabari.

They said that necessary step and measures have been initiated for the properly rescuing and safety of the local peoples from the attack of Byson.
