KOKRAJHAR, AUG 29: A total of 167 community cadres in Kokrajhar district under the Assam state rural livelihoods mission was given away two-wheeler Scooters at a programme held at Iragdao community hall, Titaguri on Monday.
The Scooters have been given away to the community cadres of Assam state rural livelihoods mission, Kokrajhar district under Sakhi expressed SOPD scheme of 2021-22 financial year under the department of Panchayat & Rural development department, Govt of Assam.
Bodoland Territorial Region chief executive member Pramod Boro ceremonially distributed the Scooters among the community cadres amidst huge presence of community cadres and officials.
In his speech, Boro said that the BTR government has been emphasizing to make healthy welfare and development of the citizens for bringing massive upliftment of the society.
He said that the BTR government and state government jointly working dedicatedly towards the uplift and welfare of the common masses with social integration.
He has urged the community cadres to render dedicative services to make all round welfare and development of the citizens in the region.
” Glad to distribute 167 nos. of two-wheeler scooters to the community cadres of Assam state rural livelihoods mission (ASRLM), Kokrajhar district under Sakhi expresss scheme today in Kokrajhar. Hopeful that these beneficiaries would dedicatedly work towards achieving financial self-sufficiency in the remote areas”, Boro said.
Among others, BTR executive members Reoreoa Narzihary, Arup Kumar Dey, additional deputy commissioner Rajiv Das, district officer of ASRLM Bichitraa Narzary, Kokrajhar BDO, Samir Basumatary were prominent attendees on the occasion.
