Condolence Observes At BTC Secretariat

KOKRAJHAR, JUL 25: A one-minute silence condolence was observed today in front of the BTC Secretariat complex, Bodofa Nwgwr in Kokrajhar in respect of Rajesh Prasad, who succumbed to hospital due to post COVID-19 complications where all officers (ranking), employees, staffs of the BTC Secretariat including principal secretary (in-charge), secretaries were present and prayed for his eternal peace.

Former administrator of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) and Principal Secretary & senior bureaucrat of state government of Assam, Rajesh Prasad breathed his last on Sunday at GMC & Hospital, Guwahati due to post COVID-19 complications that brought shocked and deep mourning among the citizens society.

Prasad was under going treatment at GMC in Guwahati following post COVID complications and today suddenly demise.

Notably, Rajesh Prasad served as Administrator in Bodoland Territorial Council during the Governor’s Rule imposed with effect from 28th April (2020) till the 15th December (2020).

Prasad was a committed and dedicated bureaucrat while discharging his duty and responsibility in his days.

With his suddenly demise, the chief executive member, deputy chief executive member, executive members,

MCLAs and officers & employees of Bodoland Territorial Council, Kokrajhar expresses profound grief and mourning on the untimely demise of Rajesh Prasad, IAS, former Administrator of BTC who breathed his last today today and also extend solidarity and heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family members and pray for eternal peace of the departed soul.

Principal Secretary (in-charge) of BTC, Naren Chandra Basumatary in a condolence message, extends deep condolence and mourned over Prasad’s untimely demise and pray for eternal peace.
