Kokrajhar, Nov 26: The Constitution Day or Samvidhan Divas, also known as National Law Day, was celebrated in Kokrajhar to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India.
The Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar, celebrated the day Institute campus. CIT Registrar Chaitali Brahma administered the pledge to the employees and staff of the institute. Director of CIT Deb Kumar Chakravarty spoke on the importance of the day and the commitment of citizens of the country towards the constitution.
The NTPC Bongaigaon situated at Salakati in Kokrajhar joined the rest of the station in observing the Constitution Day. Rakesh Kumar, CGM NTPC Bongaigaon administered the pledge to the employees of the administrative building in the presence of Sailen Das, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kokrajhar and Nayanmoni Das, In-Charge, Police Station, Salakati, Kokrajhar. A.K.Chawla, AGM (HR)\ spoke on the importance of the day and the commitment of citizens of the country towards the constitution.
The Kokrajhar district administration celebrated and took pledge at the DC office. The day was celebrated in different institutions and offices.
