Kokrajhar, Dec 15: Maidangsri Football Club, Salakati secured a place in the semi-final of the 23rd Daoharu Mungkhlong Football Trophy being played at Dotma in Kokrajhar district.
In the quarter-final match today, the Maidangsri Football Club, Salakati defeated Sanswrang Club, Serfanguri by 8-6 via tiebreak.
In a thrilling match, the match ended goalless before the stipulated play time. However the Maidangsri Football Club got the better of the Sanswrang Club by 8-6 goals.
Ganesh Boro of Maidangsri FC was declared the best player of the match.
