District Admin Organizes Photography Competition In Chirang 


KOKRAJHAR, OCT 27: The Chirang district administration has organized a online photography competition with an aim of inspiring and recognizing the talents of the budding interested photographers of Chirang district.

The online photography competition have been started from October 26, 2021 and would come to end on November 8, 2021.

In a notice issued on Tuesday by the Deputy Commissioner, Chirang, Narendra Kumar Shah said that the participant should be a permanent resident of Chirang district and all photographs should be shot within the district itself. It also said that one participant could send only 5 colour photographs captured by any mobile phones, still cameras and DSLRs in soft copy through E-mail at [email protected] on or before 5 PM of November 8, 2021 for the competition.

“The result will be declared on November 9, 2021and the prize winners will be rewarded with Rs. 3000 in cash with a citation, Rs.2000 and Rs.1000 in cash with citations for the second and third position holders respectively” the notice further informed adding that any permanent inhabitants of the Chirang district passionate for photography from children to elders and from amateur to professional can showcase their photography talents by participating in the competition.

It also added that as there was no any specific theme for the photography competition,  however, the participants were asked to give importance for taking photographs of traditional art, culture, nature, developmental works, wildlife animals, scenic views available only in the district in order to promote and provide a perfect exposure to all these assets of the district.
