KOKRAJHAR, NOV 1: Body of river drowning youth at Longa River Dotma was fished out today afternoon after 24 hour.
A 17-year old Pangkaj Brahma drowned on Saturday afternoon and today recovered his lifeless body.
Police and SDRF team started it’s search operation along the Longa River and later fished out the body on the water body of the Longa River.
Brahma went to the river along with his friends and went missing.
After a strict search operation was carried out along the Longa River just after the incident and fished out today.
The youth was hailed from Mokrapara Kamalsing village under Gossaigaon subdivision. Pangkaj Brahma, son of Sajen Brahma, was a student of Hotel management in Goa. He visited at his uncle’s house at Dotma yesterday and went to the Longa River for bath and drowned in the river.
Family members said that the youth went to the river and drowned and went missing since Saturday.
