KOKRAJHAR, JUN 30: The golden jubilee celebration of the Govt College of Teachers’ Education (GCTE), Kokrajhar began today with a year-long programme scheduled at college complex.
Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) chief executive member Pramod Boro inaugurated the golden jubilee celebration of the Govt College of Teachers’ Education, Kokrajhar amidst presence of participants and teaching fraternities of the college.
The college has contributed a lot towards the uplift and development of the educational environment in Kokrajhar as well lower Assam districts besides dedicates decade long services towards the society.
Boro lauded the organisers for organizing the glorious golden 50 years of it’s existence with rendering services towards the welfare and healthy educational environment across the region.
He has appreciated the college’s decades-long service to society & hope it continues to flourish in coming years in the region.
He has extended his best wishes to the college fraternities and hopeful that the college will meet more ushering in days to come.
He has assured the BTR government has been stepping to solve the problem and issues of the college with immediate measure.

Among others, BTR deputy CEM Gabinda Chandra Basumatary, MLA Lawrence Islary, Director of Education, BTC Jagadish Prasad Brahma, Principal Govt. CTE, Kokrajhar Dr. Gopal Krishna Bharati were present in the event.
