Hagrama Reacts on BPF-BJP Alliance

KOKRAJHAR, NOV 21: “I don’t know anything about the alliance spirit continue with BJP in today’s juncture as BJP central committee has announced for continuing”, BPF president Hagrama Mohilary said.

In Kokrajhar today, Mohilary said that he was watching the final match of the America and Russia football match on TV late night, but the TV recharged immediately ended on the TV in the late night. He said that today, he will make TV recharge for watching the TV in his house.

While reacting to the political affairs development on the alliance spirit with BJP party, “What had discussed within BJP party, I was not aware till now. Alliance continue or not, it will be depending on time”, Mohilary said adding that there will be no impact of erosion of party leaders MP Biswajit Daimary, MLA Emmanuel Mushahary in BPF party.

He has claimed that his BPF party is intact with integrity and unity as party was working for all round development of the society in the region.

He informed that his BPF party is fully prepared to contest the council elections and getting mass supports from all communities in the council area.

Notably, BPF party is contesting in 37 constituencies, UPPL 40, GSP 35, BJP 26, Congress 13, AIUDF 7 in the BTC council election.

The BTC council election has been scheduling with two phases on December 7 and 10 respectively for 40 member house.

In the first phase, the election to be held on 7th December for 21 constituencies covering Udalguri and Baksa district.

In the second phase, the council election to be held on 10th December for 19 constituencies covering in Chirang and Kokrajhar district.

All four districts and the BTAD are seen busy on preparation to conduct the council elections without free and fair environment to elect public representatives.

It needs to be mentioned that the BTC council election was referred for indefinite due to COVID-19 pandemic situation which was scheduled to be held on April 4.

The governor’s rule was imposed in BTC administration on April 27 following expiry of BPF rule in BTAD administration in the wake of COVID-19 across the state.
