Jubin Garg Appeals for Release Kidnapped Quippo Officials

KOKRAJHAR, FEB 22:  Noted Singer Jubin Garg has appealed to the ULFA-I to make release of captive two officials of quippo company on humanitarian ground.

On Sunday evening in Kokrajhar, Jubin Garg appeals for release kidnapped Quippo officials as they have also their family members as others are enjoying family life.

“Please do not play of politics on human life. People have wish to live with their family. So, quippo company officials just be released”, Garg said.

Garg has made an appealed to the ULFA-I organisation for early release of the kidnapped quippo company officials for the greater interest of social integration in the state.

“Assam state has been witnessing many incidents like kidnapped and killing since long years, today also seeing kidnapping incident. So, please release the captive quippo company officials”, Garg said.

Garg said above remarks in Kokrajhar while attending the cultural nite nite of Ragam: The Bodoland Sanskriti festival which was concluded on Sunday evening, was organised by Cultural department of Bodoland martyrs Region administration.

Garg inaugurated the cultural evening amidst huge gathering of Cultural lovers.

BTR chief executive member Pramod Boro was also present in the event.

Meanwhile, the Ragam festival (The Bodoland Sanskriti) was concluded on Sunday with three day colourful programme scheduled held at Bodofa Cultural Complex, Chandamari in Kokrajhar district.

The mega cultural event was organised by Cultural department of Bodoland Territorial Region administration.

Cultural troupes representing different communities including Bodo, Nepali, Adivashi, Rabha, Garo, Koch Rajbongshi, Muslim, Bengali participated and presented their cultural demonstration during the event.

Bodoland Territorial Region chief executive member CEM Pramod Boro told that the mega cultural event was organised for building peace and tranquility among the society in the region.

He said that the event saw a healthy successful with huge participation in all scheduled programmes which have pave the way healthy integration and unity.

BTC executive members Daobaisa Boro, Arup Kumar Dey, ex MP UG Brahma, noted singer Sulekha Basumatary were prominent attendees in the event.
