Kaklabari Agricultural Farming Would Be Agricultural Training Institute: BTR CEM

KOKRAJHAR, JUN 18: “The Kaklabari agricultural farming would be upgraded to the training institute of Agriculture department in Bodoland Territorial Council”, said BTR chief executive member Pramod Boro.

While talking to the media persons in Kokrajhar on Friday, Boro said that the BTC districts have many potentiality of agricultural farming and crops as it’s environment and natural resources are very enfluenced on crops productions.

Boro has urged the concern department head of department and higher authorities to dedicate massive while producing heavy products in all line departments with positive methods.

He said that BTC administration has been emphasised a deep dedication and massive productivity steps in days to come to extend support and building up self reliable resources in the region.

Meanwhile, a meeting of BTR CEM, Pramod Boro, BTC executive members, departmental secretaries, CHDs of Agriculture, Fishery, Handloom & Textile, Veterinary etc was held with Dr. Kamal Malla Bujarbaruah, former Vice Chancellor of Assam Agricultural University of Jarhat, who has been appointed as joined as Economic Adviser to the CEM of BTR at BTC Secretariat conference hall on Friday.

Dr Bujarbaruah was advised to the all officer attended in the meeting to speed up action plan accordingly to get the funds from either Assam state or government of India to start up projects in BTR whether for plantation of Agricultural Products, Fisheries, Handloom & Textile projects, Veterinary related like the Dairy milk products etc.

He also pointed out that the suitable place to start up projects can be begun at Kaklabari at Baksa district.

BTR CEM Boro was also advise to the all officers attended in the meeting to follow up advises of adviser to take matters seriously and ensure projects to success an end. Honorable Chief also asked to prepare at least three action plan projects to the all departmental CHDs which are yo be presented in the next meeting at Kaklabari at Baksa district.

Previous day, there was also meeting of officers of Forest department of BTR with CEM SPramod Boro with the departmental Secretaries of BTC regarding plantation of plants/saplings where idle lands are Iying in Forest Department of BTR and to take action plant accordingly.

The meeting also discussed regarding allotment of land of Forest area to the family who have already occupied Forest Land as per Forest Act. Hon’ble Chief of BTR also given more stress on tourism projects in BTR. Since BTR IS having more potential for Tourists destination if we can develop the Tourists places.
