Koklabari Bye Poll: Poll goes 71.71 % 


KOKRAJHAR, JUN 8: The bye poll in No.22 Koklabari constituency (ST) in Baksa district was passed off peaceful and recorded nearly 71.71% poll percentage till 5 pm in the entire constituency.

The fate of four candidate’s have sealed in ballot box as the poll was concluded peaceful.

The poll was held in 97 polling stations in a strict security vigil across the constituency.

As per source from election commission, the poll percentage has been scripted 71.71% percentage till 5 pm.

Notably, four candidates were in fray from different parties including ruling UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance party’s candidate Mantu Boro.

UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance party’s candidate Mantu Boro franchised his vote at Koklabari HS School polling station early morning today.

He was accompanied with his wife and UPPL party leaders.

Boro has expressed his hopeful that the UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance party is getting last laugh from the Koklabari constituency in a huge margin of votes.

He has emphasized that he would devote his dedication towards the all round development of the constituency.

He said that UPPL led UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance government in BTR government is committed to work for the welfare and development of the society since it’s inception.
