Kokrajhar Cancer Hospital Dedicates For The Masses


KOKRAJHAR, APRIL 28: The Kokrajhar Cancer Hospital, Beswargaon has been dedicated towards rendering services for the common masses in Bodoland Territorial Region districts on Thursday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi ceremonially inaugurated the newly constructed Cancer Hospital, Beswargaon Kokrajhar via virtually meet from Dibrugarh in the the presence of union cabinet minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Tata trust chairman, Ratan Tata, Governor of Assam Prof Jagdish Mukhi, chief minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma.

In Kokrajhar, BTR CEM Pramod Boro,deputy CEM Gabinda Chandra Basumatary, MLAs Lawrence Islary, Jiron Basumatary, Jayanta Basumatary, BTC executive member Arup Kumar Dey were graced as guests.

A total 43 bed have been available at Kokrajhar Cancer Hospital to render services in the region.

The hospital has been emphasizing to extend world class treatment with offering facilities. BTR CEM Pramod Boro has expressed his hopeful that the cancer hospital is extending rendering services for treatment of cancer diseases among the the citizens in the region.

He said that cancer patients from region are getting benefits while taking medical treatment. He said that the BTR as well state governments are jointly working dedicatedly towards the welfare and uplift of the state since it’s inception.

He has extended thanks to the prime minister Modi, chief minister Dr Sarma and Ratan Tata for establishing the cancer hospital in Kokrajhar, heart town of Bodoland Territorial Region.
