Medical Services Would Be Uplifted In BTR: Dey


KOKRAJHAR, FEB 25: Bodoland Territorial Region executve member Arup Kumar Dey has emphasised for uplifment of medical services with facilitating proper medical equipments in all medical hospitals in the entire Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) districts.

On Friday, Dey along with BTR Principal Secretary Anurag Goel and Principal Secretary for Health & Family Welfare department, government of Assam, Tirath Saud visited at Rup Nath Brahma (RNB) civil hospital, Kokrajhar and took stock about the medical services and uplift of the hospital.

Dey and officials have inspected all corners of the hospital besides interacted with the doctors and hospital authorities.

Notably, the RNB civil hospital is the premier hospital in Bodoland belt and so far uplifted with sophiscated medical equipments to render medical services for the citizens.

BTR executive member Dey, Goel and Saud have also took stock about the prevailing strengths of doctors, nurses as well as other staffs in the hospital.

Dey said that the BTR government has been stepping with dedicatedly while initiating properly develop of medical sciences and appointing of sufficient doctor and nurses in all hospitals. He said that the Rup Nath said civil hospital has so far uplifted with renovation works along the hospitals.

He said that the BTR government has so far initiated for making appointments of more doctor and medical staffs where the hospitals are facing requirements in the region.

Goel said that the state government so far appointed an additional director for BTR districts from health and family welfare department to look after the medical services.

He has assured that lying vacancies of doctor and other staffs would be filling up with immediate steps in all hospital as well sub centres in the Bodoland region.

He said BTR government has prepared necessary strategy for bringing healthy welfare and development of the medical services.
