KOKRAJHAR, AUG 30: Assam minister for Tourism and Power department, Bimal Borah has been stressing for uplift and development of tourism sector in Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) districts with bringing infrastructural development.
Minister Borah, who is also minister for Cultural Affairs & Sports and youth welfare, has made a visit at Dheerlbil and Baukhhungri Hills in Kokrajhar today.
He was accompanied with BTR CEM Pramod Boro.
Borah took stock about the tourist hot spots and assure for development and uplift of the tourism sector in Bodoland Territorial Council districts.
Minister Borah and BTR CEM Pramod Boro have boarded at Boating along the Dheerlbil and shared upiftment measures from state government.
Borah said that the BTR districts are very potentiality of healthy natural beauty and visitors from different foreign countries are coming to visit in BTR and accordingly state government and BTR administration are jointly working towards the ushering of tourism.
He said that tourism sector would be uplifted through the exploring of the tourist spots across the region.
He said that peoples from the region must come forward while conserving the natural resources and beauties of the region.
