Minister Mahanta sudden visit at RNB civil hospital in Kokrajhar 


KOKRAJHAR, DEC 5: Assam minister for Health and Family welfare department, Keshab Mahanta has made a sudden visit today at Rup Nath Brahma civil hospital in Kokrajhar to take stock about the infrastructural development aspects and running condition of the hospital.

Mahanta arrived at the hospital this evening around 5 pm and inspected all corners of the hospital complex as well met hospital authorities and staffs.

He took stock about the prevailing run condition of the hospital and asked the hospital authorities for providing sufficient services facilities for the citizens in the hospital.

Notably, Mahanta’s sudden visit arrived here as a house committee of BTC Legislative Assembly recently visited the hospital and expressed their resented over the running of the hospital in a pathetic condition.

Mahanta has said that the state government and BTR government have been stepping to make healthy upliftment along with providing several facilities for the citizens in the region.He said that the health sector especially in the state would be uplifted with strong initiatives to render deep services for the citizens.

He has revealed that some technically lacks have been happening in the civil hospital while discharging the services for the welfare of the citizens,said that the issues and problems in the civil hospital would be resolved within short span of days.

He said that the citizens and attending patients in the civil hospital must get sufficient facilities and services with positive responses.

Meanwhile, Mahanta also visited at the construction site of Kokrajhar medical college & hospital at Debargaon in Kokrajhar.

He took stock about the ongoing construction of medical college and expressed his hopeful that the medical college’s construction activities are going on positive direction.

He informed that the curriculum of the medical college would be commenced from next session of next year while after receiving the approval authentication from the national medical council (NMC).
