Minister Pegu Stresses For Implementation Of 6.3 Clause Of BTR Accord 


KOKRAJHAR, AUG 13: Assam Education minister Dr Ranoj Pegu today visited Kokrajhar, heart of Bodoland Territorial Region districts and participated various scheduled programmes held at different places including BTC Secretariat and Bodoland University.

Minister Pegu attended a review meeting with Bodoland Territorial Region chief executive member Pramod Boro, principals/staffs from provincialised degree colleges of BTR,local MLAs held at BTR CEM’s conference hall, BTC Secretariat in Kokrajhar.

The meeting discussed thoroughly on the building up of quality educatiional environment and infrastructural development of the educational institutions across the Bodoland region.

Pegu said that the Education department of the state and BTR government have been stressing to make healthy upliftment and welfare of the educational environment and necessary measures have so far initiated.

He informed that the 6.3 clause of the historic BTR accord would be implemented with letter and spirit and numbers of venture schools would be provincialised in days to come. He said that the concern department and authorities are working towards the solving of the venture school’s issues in the state.

He said that the state government has been stepping to extend rendering services for bringing massive welfare and development of all sections of the society.

BTR CEM Pramod Boro told that the BTR government and state government have been initiating strictly to implement the 6.3 clause of the BTR accord and accordingly several venture schools are going to be provincialised in days to come. He informed that today a review meeting was held in the presence of Education minister Dr Ranoj Pegu and reviewed over the upliftment and development of the educational sceneries in the region.

He has urged educational institutions head/ authorities to render dedicative services while bringing healthy quality educatiional environment.
