MoU (Memorendum of Understanding) signed between CITK and industries


Kokrajhar, 28 August: As per the report, Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar (CITK) signed MoUs with the four industries on 27th August 2021 at 4:00 PM in online mode in the presence of Director (Additional Charge) CITK and Director IIT Guwahati Prof. T G Sitharam, Deans, Registrar, Faculty members, Alumni of CITK and Directors and Managers of the following four industries.

  1. Software Technology Park of India (STPI) Guwahati
  2. Swedium Global Services Pvt. Ltd. Bangalore Karnataka
  3. BoldTek Private Limited Guwahati
  4. DigitalOma Private Limited BTR

The signing of MoUs between CITK and industries aims to strengthen collaboration mainly in the areas of  Industry and Institution interaction to provide an insight into the latest developments/requirements of the industries, extend support in various projects and startups, deliver training and placement of the students on the latest technology trends and in-house requirements. Other mutual areas of interest will benefit both the signatory parties, BTR, and the North-Eastern region in general.


Director CITK Prof. T G Sitharam briefed how these institute industry collaborations will be helpful for the students registered in different programs at CITK for their training, hands-on knowledge, and skill development through exposure to industrial/large-scale operations.


Dean Alumni and External Relations, CITK Shri Pranav Kumar Singh thanked his Director for his support in encouraging & guiding for these MoUs. He expressed his gratitude to all the distinguished representatives from the industries on this occasion. He expressed his happiness over the establishment of DigitalOma Private Limited in the BTR region. He said more such establishments in BTR by its youths would increase employability and can bring change. He said that the signing of MoUs would strengthen our Alumni engagement and enhance mutual collaboration on joint priorities for students, CITK and BTR.
