KOKRAJHAR, JUN 28: The government of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) has declared that Dance India Dance (DID) Little Master (season 5) winner Nabajit Narzary has been named for the prestigious Jwhwlao Nileswar Brahma Cultural Award on recognition his best dancing talent showcased in the recent concluded DID dancing reality show.
Nabajit Narzary, lifted the winning trophy in the grand finale of DID Little Master, who is hailed from Golaghat district, performed his best and attractive dancing talent in the dancing reality show plateform on ZEE TV network.
The prestigious award has been constituted by Cultural Affairs department of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) government and has been conferring to the persons those have contributed a lot towards the welfare and uplift of the culture and art in the region.
Nabajit Narzary has been named for the award on recognition his winning the DID Little Master dancing reality show.
The award comprising of a citation, momento and cash 3 lakhs which would be conferred on the occasion of BTR accord day celebration of 2023 next year.
Meanwhile, the ruling UPPL party extended warm welcome and felicitated the winner of DID season 5 little master dancer, Nabajit Narzary today at a programme held in Kokrajhar.
The party welcomed Nabajit Narzary with traditional Aronai and bunch of flowers besides handed over a cheque of Rs.101000 to Nabajit Narzary amidst huge gathering.
UPPL vice-president and KMB chairperson Pratibha Brahma on behalf of UPPL party, handed over the financial support to DID winner Nabajit.
She has extended congratulations to Narzary who has achieved the winning trophy in the national level dancing competition by showcasing his best dancing talent.
Meanwhile, a heroic warm welcome and felicitation was offered to DID winner Nabajit Narzary today at a programme held at KDSA indoor stadium in Kokrajhar.
The felicitation event was organised by All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) central office in association with Kokrajhar district committee of the ABSU.
Irrespective of caste, creed, communities and organisations, apart from ABSU, Bodo Sahitya Sabha, Dularai Bodo Harimu Afad (DBHA) have greeted congratulations to Nabajit Narzary for his winning the DID dancing competition.
