KOKRAJHAR, OCT 27: NDA backed UPPL and BJP candidates are getting last laugh from all contesting five constituencies in the scheduled October 30 by-elections in the state including Gossaigaon LAC.
Addressing the reporters today at a joint press conference of BJP abd UPPL parties held at Gossaigaon Press Club, Assam cabinet minister Ashok Singhal claimed that NDA backed UPPL candidate Jiron Basumatary is winning majority supports of over 25000 margin of votes at Gossaigaon LAC as peoples from all sections of the society are coming forward to extend support to the UPPL candidate.
Singhal said that UPPL candidate will have strong fight with AIUDF candidate.
Independent candidate, Kamal Roy has joined the BJP party today and announced to extend to the NDA backed UPPL candidate Jiron Basumatary.
UPPL president Pramod Boro has expressed his hopeful that UPPL party candidate is getting last laugh from the Gossaigaon LAC with majority as irrespective of communities are coming forward to extend support the UPPL candidate.
He has assured that NDA alliance government was working towards the welfare and development of the society in the state.
He said that UPPL party is stepping to extend massive development works for the common masses.
