No alliance with GSP, UPPL deny allegations

KOKRAJHAR, SEP 1: United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) has denied the allegations leveled against the party chief Pramod Boro by former UPPL CWC member and RTI activist Prithibhiraj Narayan Dev Mech, said that the allegations were totally baseless and unsuited in today’s hour.
Addressing the reporters at a press conference held at party office on Tuesday in Kokrajhar, party secretary and spokesperson, Wilson Hasda told that Dev Mech who sacked from party for his anti-party activities recently and his allegations leveled against Pramod Boro was baseless. He said that there was no one party member had been engaged to meet Kokrajhar Lok Sabha MP and president of GSP Naba Kumar Sarania for alliance for ensuing BTC election.  He claimed that UPPL party has been contesting in all 40 seats of the BTC legislative assembly on its own candidates.He strongly denied the allegations of Dev Mech said that he is become individual as party has released him from CWC member as well all other positions in the party platform on 30th August last.
He said that there is no word of alliance with GSP from UPPL in the elections and no discussion was held in this regard as Dev Mech repeatedly put remarks.
Hasda said that UPPL party was working for the all round development and welfare for the peoples of the BTC region since its inception and today citizens from all walks of life are extending supports to the UPPL in the ensuing BTC council elections and party is winning majority seats to form next BTC council.
Hasda also clarified that there is no hiring from Delhi to participate in the BTC elections as Dev Mech made allegation on UPPL chief Pramod Boro, said that any one individual or well wishers are extending financial donations for the party as other parties enjoying in the democratic country. He said that UPPL party is getting mass support during the BTC council elections and accordingly party is getting much donations from many corners in the region.
He has accused Dev Mech who has been involved with anti-party activities while he was within the party organization and indulged unwanted remarks as well addressed several press conferences without consent of the party leaders. Dev Mech was sacked by party central leadership for his anti-party activities since a few months in the region.
