Oxygen Plant Ready To Use In Kokrajhar RNB Civil Hospital

KOKRAJHAR, JUN 8: The Oxygen plant is all set to generate Oxygen within 72 hours to use for Covid patients as well common masses whenever required at RNB civil hospital in Kokrajhar.

The RNB civil hospital, Kokrajhar is 200 bedded hospital that received 200 litre per minute (LPM) self generation oxygen plant few days ago including four cylinder from government of India.

The Oxygen plant reached here from New Delhi via Guwahati which has set up at RNB civil hospital.

The plant is under make in India initiative to extend supports for the Covid patients on it’s emergency periods.

The Oxygen plant is expected to be operational within the 72 hours.

On Tuesday, BTC executive member for Health and Family Welfare department, Arup Kumar Dey has visited at the RNB civil hospital Oxygen plant to monitor the execution of work to make the plant operational.

Dey said that the operational of the Oxygen plant is to be beginning within 72 hours for extending support to the Covid patients as well common masses during the needy hour.

He said that citizens of BTC areas are getting Oxygen extensive services whenever required as two Oxygen plants are set up one each in Kokrajhar and Chirang district.

Dr Rahul Paul, in-charge of RNB civil hospital Oxygen plant told that the Oxygen plant is ready to generate Oxygen which arrived here to extend support to the Covid patients on it’s emergency periods for Kokrajhar district.

Superintendent of RNB civil hospital, Dr A S Sarma informed that the Oxygen plant is fully ready for using during the needy periods.
