PM Modi To Address Election Rally In Kokrajhar


KOKRAJHAR, MAR 30: A massive preparation is going in full swing at Green Field Bodofa Nwgwr in Kokrajhar to host the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s election campaign for UPPL party candidates under the NDA alliance scheduled to be held on 1st April next.

Necessary preparation and arrangements are made at Green Field Bodofa Nwgwr in Kokrajhar for organizing the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit.

Modi is addressing a grand election campaign rally in Kokrajhar where over 2 lakh peoples are expecting to participate in support of UPPL candidates under NDA alliance.

Party leaders from UPPL, BJP, GSP are camping in the Green Field to monitor the construction of pandal, road communication etc.

Modi is expecting to arrive in the morning before noon in a chartered Helicopter at Green Field Bodofa Nwgwr in Kokrajhar near BTC Secretariat.

On Tuesday, Assam DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta has arrived at the Green Field to take stock about the preparation and arrangements for the PM Modi’s election campaign rally.

Peoples from all constituencies of Kokrajhar and Chirang districts are thronging the Modi’s election campaign rally.

Necessary security forces have been deployed along the Green Field Bodofa Nwgwr and it’s adjoining areas.

BTC executive member and BJP leader Arup Kumar Dey told that over 2 lakh peoples are attending the grand election campaign at Green Field where PM Modi is addressing.

He has expressed his hopeful that BJP led NDA alliance candidates are winning all 12 contesting constituencies across the four districts of the Bodoland Territorial Region as peoples from cutting across the communities are coming forward to extend support to the UPPL and BJP parties in the assembly elections.

He said that peoples are wanting parivartan and development among the society and accordingly extending support with wholeheartedly for the BJP and UPPL parties.

Meanwhile, UPPL candidate for Kokrajhar East constituency Lawrence Islary has been campaigning in support of his candidature on Tuesday.

Islary attended campaigning meetings in several places including Bhaoragwja, Alangi, Patgaon and Mistabari.

” Though the day has been rainy in some parts of 30 East Kokrajhar since 24 hours, yet the situation didn’t bother the public from attending the campaign meetings.The peoples’ trust in UPPL Government is growing by leaps and bounds day by day”, Islary said adding that he is getting last laugh from the Kokrajhar East constituency defeating BPF candidate Pramila Rani Brahma.

Sarmela Islary, wife of UPPL candidate Lawrence Islary has also addressed election campaigning meetings at Shukanjhora, Daloabari Part II, Simbargaon in support of her husband.

She has made an appealed to all sections of the communities to vote in favor of UPPL candidate in the assembly elections.

She has assured that UPPL party is taking social uplift and development among the society if voted to the power in the state.

On the other hand, BPF party candidate and Assam Social welfare minister Pramila Rani Brahma inaugurated election sub-committee office at Bhalukjhora on Tuesday and addressed the electioneering campaign meetings.

She said that her BPF party was working for the welfare and development of the common masses since it’s inception in the region.

She said that her BPF party is contesting in 12 constituencies across the four districts and getting massive support cutting across the communities.

She has expressed her hopeful that she and her party is getting last laugh from all contesting constituencies in the assembly elections.
