KOKRAJHAR, AUG 29: A two-day Harinaam Sankirtan for World Peace programme was began from today being held at Science College auditorium hall in Kokrajhar, heart town of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).
The event was organised by International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).
Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) chief executive member Pramod Boro lit the lamp to inaugurate the programme amidst presence of devotees participating from different places of Kokrajhar district and it’s adjoining areas.
Notably, four ISKCON devotees and followers of Krishnaism from Russia participated the programme and offered their prayer and worship to Lord Krishna.
Boro while extending his best wishes to the organisers for organizing the Harinam Sankirtan for world peace.
” I am very much blessed to attend the Harinaam Sankirtan for world peace organised by ISKCON. In these turbulent times, Lord Shri Krishna’s all-encompassing message of universal peace inspires us to remain steadfast on the path of Dharma and prayed that the Lord showers His grace & blessings on all humanity”, Boro added.
BTR executive member Arup Kumar Dey and MCLA & Political Secretary to CEM, Madhab Chetry were also present in the event.
