Pramod Boro Focuses On Youth’s Welfare In BTR


KOKRAJHAR, MAY 28: An interaction session with members of club, society, NGO and farmer members representing different communities under Koklabari constituency was held today at Lakhibazar community hall, Koklabari constituency of Baksa district.

Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) chief executive member (CEM) Pramod Boro, political secretary to chief minister and MLA Jayanta Malla Baruah, MLA Jolen Daimary were attended as guests.

During the interaction session, a good discussion related to the welfare and uplift of the youths among the society was held which was chaired by Hitesh Boro, president of Koklabari block of UPPL youth wing.

BTR CEM, Boro said that the BTR government has been emphasizing for extending support to the sports club or society those are working dedicatedly towards the welfare and uplift of the region especially youths welfare.

He said that the sports’ environment must be prevailed with positivity thinking among the society in the region which is the need of the hour.

He has urged our youths to focus on sports, agriculture, education and make efforts to build a developed & progressive society to bring self reliable environment.

He said that the regular sporting career can build a healthy health besides carrying up a perfect life of the human living.

” Today’s youths of the society are generations of the country,so we just create a congenial situation among the society”, Boro said.

He informed that the BTR government have so far launched many mission and schemes/ missions including skill employment and enterprenurship development while addressing the welfare and uplift of the region. He said that youths must come forward while acquiring higher studies as well professional careers on many aspects to be self reliable to make an integrated life leading.

He said that the BTR government is committed to render humanity services with taking bold steps for making a healthy development and integrated society.

” We would be setting up counseling centre in all VCDC levels to make healthy awareness on many aspects among the youths. All sections of fraternities including youths, women, culture,farmers would be given training on respective layers”, Boro said adding that the BTR government is establishing sports academy in BTR districts with necessary arrangements.

He has opined that the citizens of the region must be cultured with speciallity to make massive growth and development to build up self sustainable through livelihood earning environment.

Meanwhile, a joint booth level meet of BJP, UPPL & GSP was held at the Shimla Darbar Hall today for the upcoming No. 22 Koklabari (ST) constituency bye election.

BTR CEM and UPPL president Pramod Boro said that UPPL led UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance party’s candidate Mantu Boro is getting last laugh from the Koklabari constituency in a huge margin of votes.

He has accused that BPF party and Hagrama Mohilary is now an irrelevant leader in the region.

Boro has termed that BPF president Hagrama Mohilary is a leader of opportunist who always sees the opportunistic scope to gain his political mileage.

He has alleged that Mohilary never thought for the welfare and development of the society in the entire Bodoland region as BPF ruled the region for 17 years.

He informed that peoples from all walks of life are waiting to vote in favour of UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance party’s candidate Mantu Boro in the Koklabari constituency bye poll.

” We derived our strength & motivation from people’s unconditional love & trust on us & this support will lead us to another victory”,Boro said.

Assam state BJP president and MLA Bhabesh Kalita have been campaigning today at Shimla in support of UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance party’s candidate Mantu Boro,said that Mantu Boro is winning the Koklabari constituency bye poll with a huge margin of votes as state government and BTR government are working dedicatedly towards the welfare and uplift of the society.

He said that there is no any space of opposition party’s influence among the citizens in the constituency.

He said that the UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance parties are jointly working for the bye poll for paving the way healthy welfare and integration.

During the campaigning among others, MLAs Lawrence Islary, Jolen Daimary, Rajya Sabha MP Rwngwra Narzary, BTC executive members Dhananjay Basumatary, Ranjit Basumatary, Ghanashyam Das, Gautam Das were prominent attendees.
