KOKRAJHAR, JAN 2: Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) executve member for Health & Family welfare department, Arup Kumar Dey launched the Rog Nirmul mission on Sunday at Fakiragram subsidiary health centre in Kokrajhar to extend rendering services for the senior citizens across the districts.
Marking the welcoming the happy new year-2022 and extending humanity services as well helping hand among the citizens in Bodoland Territorial Region districts, the health & family welfare department has ceremonially launched the Rog Nirmul mission with stepping up door to door free medical check up and treatment for senior citizens.
The mission was started from Fakiragram subsidiary health centre in the presence of joint director for health & family welfare department, Dr Jahirul Ahmed, doctors and nurses from Fakiragram subsidiary health centre.
BTR executve member Dey has himself visited at the residence of senior citizens along with a team of doctors and nurse staffs during the beginning of the mission.
The doctors and nurse team made a health checked up of senior citizens and provided necessary medical aids wherever required as per the health condition.
Dey said that the mission has been emphasizing to extend free medical treatment for senior citizens of the districts of the BTR and government has been stepping to extend door to door medical treatment for them across the region.
He said that the mission has been stepping by BTR government to render humanity services for the senior citizens to get rid from the disease among the society.
He said that all senior citizens of the BTR districts both men and women should not be go to the hospital or medical centres for their health treatment from now. He said that sufficient doctor and nurse staffs so far engaged to extend medical treatment for the senior citizens across the region from today.
