Sangrang Brahma Files FIR With Police 


KOKRAJHAR, MAR 17: Dr Sangrang Brahma, OSD to BTR CEM Pramod Boro (on deputation) has filed an FIR with Kokrajhar police station on Thursday against the Pritiraj Narayan Dev Mech.

Brahma lodged the FIR against so called social activist Dev Mech, who had levelled allegations over B Ed admission authorising letter issuance to the principal of Govt B. Ed. College in Kokrajhar.

Brahma has denied the signature that went viral over issuance of admission for students in the Govt College of teacher’s education (B. Ed. College) in Kokrajhar.

He has come down heavily on Dev Mech for his irresponsible remarks against him and said that the allegations levelled against him was baseless.

” Dev Mech’s remarks on him was absolute mischief and fraud act”, Dr Brahma said.

” I totally denied this signature and seal of mine. It is completely a false subject. I being the responsible citizen and officer of responsible duty cannot do away such illegalities. I therefore request that a strong case against the person Dev Mech for his irresponsible activities or with criminal conspiracy and with dirty mindset and must be booked under the relevant penal provision of the country”, Brahma said.

He also informed that a case against the principal of Govt College of Teacher’s Education, Kokrajhar may also be registered if they have admitted based on such recommendations”, the FIR stated.

Meanwhile, the principal of  Govt College of Teacher’s Education, Kokrajhar, Dr GK Bharati has denied the allegations of admission letter reached from the OSD to BTR CEM Pramod Boro, Dr Sangrang Brahma regarding the B. Ed. admission in the college.

Speaking the reporters today in college office chamber, Dr Bharati has said that he didn’t know anything about the information viral about the admission regarding the students admission in the college.

He informed that the admission procedure has been done in the Bodoland University and subsequently he doesn’t know anything about the viral information about the B Ed admission procedure.

” There is no any letter received by college authority about the direction for giving admission for students from any source till date. I don’t know anything about the incident”,  Bharati said.
