Sikshak & Karmacharis Yet To Get February Salaries


KOKRAJHAR, MAR 22: Teachers and Karmacharis of the madhyamik vidhyalas in Bodoland Territorial Region districts are depriving their due salaries of February month due to insincerity from the concerned department.

Addressing the reporters today at a press conference held in Kokrajhar today, please Rajkumar Subedy and secretary Pwilao Brahma of Asom Madhyamik Sikshak aru Karmachari Santha of BTAD committe have said that they are yet to salaries of February month itself due to insincerity attitudes from the concerned department in Bodoland Territorial Region.

They informed that there are nearly 200 school’s teacher and Karmacharis are not getting their due salaries of February month due to shortfall of budget.

They said that there is reports of Rs. 7 crore’s shortfall in the education while extending salaries to the concerned employees and Karmacharis.

The santha leaders informed that they have even met concern departmental officers over the issues and grievances of the salaries,yet no response has been reached into the issue.

They have urged the education  department of Bodoland Territorial Region to make allocation and sanction the salaries of the February month for paving the way healthy welfare and development of the Sikshak and Karmacharis with immediate effect.

The santha leaders have also warned to take protest demonstration if they fail to get February salaries within ongoing March month itself.
