KOKRAJHAR, OCT 24 : The Deputy Commissioner Chirang, Narendra Kumar Shah recently inaugurated a special learning centre for not ever enrolled and dropped out students of underdeveloped areas of Chirang district bordering Bhutan at Fulbari distric under Deosri Village Council of Development Committee. So far, a total of 57 such students have been enrolled in this centre. As of now, 5 such centres are being run by the The Ant (NGO) in collaboration with the Sarba Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) of Chirang.
This have been started as per directions of the chief minister of Assam as a part of development of underdeveloped areas of bordering areas.
Inspector of Schools and District Elementary Education Officer, Chirang, Bijay Baishnab and officials of The Ant (NGO) were present also present on the occasion.
