Students Extends Felicitation To Teachers In School


KOKRAJHAR, MAR 5: A get-together cum felicitation programme of 1997 HSLC batch passing out students of Fakiragram Public High School was concluded at school premises on Saturday in Kokrajhar.

Teaching fraternities of the school including former teachers were offered warm felicitation with traditional Phulam Gamocha and gift items in the event by former students of 1997 HSLC batch students of the school.

The programme was organised by 1997 HSLC batch passing out students of the Fakiragram Public High School in memory of glorious 25 years of HSLC passing out moments.

Notably, the existing Fakiragram Public High School got it’s recognition from the concerned educational department since after the school scripted 50% pass percentage of the students in the HSLC results in 1997 and subsequently provincialised in 2013.

A total 11 students were successfully passing out the HSLC examination in 1997 and recorded highest ever pass percentage in the school.

The programme was chaired by Jiban Kishore Barman, headmaster of the school.

Former teacher and treasury officer of Kokrajhar Sanjay Kumar Sharma, founder headmaster of the school Kumar Digendra Narayan Deb, former teachers Shila Paul, Alongbar Mushahary were graced as guests in the event.

Former student fraternities of 1997 HSLC batch have also handled over a citation to the teaching community that marked an attraction among the participants.

The school authority also extended warm felicitation to the former students on the occasion.

Teachers Malina Narzary and Alongbar Mushahary have recited their self composed poems on the occasion highlighting the good relationship as well integration between teacher and student fraternities.

Sharma has lauded the organisers for organizing the get-together session in the school that recalled the memories of the school few 25 year’s ago.

” Today, we got an environment for remembering the situation of the educational environment in the school as ex students and existing students have an opportunities in the school complex”, Sharma said.

Barman said that the 1997 HSLC batch results had brought the opportunity to get recognition from the concerned department while getting provincialisation in 2013. He has appreciated the former students for organising the get-together session that saw a good discussion with bringing closed relationship building up in between teaching community and student fraternities of the school.

Organisers of the programme, Hantigiri Narzary and Nabajyoti Singha told that the felicitation initiative was carried out to remember the moments of the school few 25 year’s ago. They said that they have lucky enough today that they have got an environment of healthy integration among the society. They informed that this year (2022) their HSLC batch passing out moment has so far completed 25 years since 1997 and subsequently extended our sincerely gratitude to the teaching fraternities.
