Teacher Murder Case: Eight Nabs In Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR, MAR 16: Police administration in Kokrajhar have apprehended eight persons till date for involved with the teacher murder case in Kokrajhar district.

Notably, a school headmaster of Kumguri (Tinkhona) LP school under Dotma education block, identified as Berlao Bethao Brahma alias Bibhas Brahma (45) was brutally murdered by miscreants on 9th March whose body was recovered from a deep jungle of Magurmari forest in Kokrajhar district.

Since after the incident of the brutally murder case, police in Kokrajhar have started it’s investigation and so far apprehended eight persons for involved with the teacher murder case.

Police administration has expressed it’s hopeful that all involved culprits would be booked within few days.

Family members of Brahma lodged an FIR with police and demanded a strict investigation into the incident and punished the involved culprits.

SP Prateek Thube said that the investigation into the teacher murder case is deeply going on and so far arrested eight persons for involved with the incident.

Meanwhile, a one-day training programme on cyber crimes investigation forensic was organised at SP office conference hall in Kokrajhar which was organised under the aegis of police administration.

Over 45 police officers from different districts of Bodoland Territorial Region.

Experts from police administration on cyber crimes investigation forensic have been imparted training among the participating police officers.

Special DGP and in-charge IGP of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Dr L R Bishnoi inaugurated the training programme in the presence of senior police officers.

He said that the training programme will facilitate knowledge gaining on cyber crimes investigation forensic among the police officers.
