Teacher Murder Case: Teaching Fraternities Demands Strict Investigation Into Murder Case


KOKRAJHAR, MAR 12: The All Bodo Primary Teachers’ Association (ABPTA) has demanded a strict investigation and immediate arrests all culprits involved into the brutally murdered of a school teacher recently in Kokrajhar district.

Notably, a school headteacher of Kumguri LP School who was identified as Berlao Bethao Brahma alias Bibhash Brahma (45) was brutally murdered by miscreants on Thursday. Brahma was headmaster of the Kumguri LP School under Dotma education block in Kokrajhar district.

He was first kidnapped and later brutally murdered, whose death body was recovered from inside deep jungle of Magurmari forest area.

On Saturday, a seven member’s delegation team of the Kokrajhar district committee of the All Bodo Primary Teachers’ Association visited at the Tinkhona village and met family members of Brahma led by it’s president of Kokrajhar district committee Dwmwilu Basumatary and secretary Jayanta Daimary.

The association took stock about the incident and expressed it’s serious concern into the incident.

The association strongly condemned the incident and demanded a high level strict investigation into the incident and punished the involved culprits.

The association members said that the murder case of a teacher was unfortunate and unwanted for the society.

The association has urged the police administration and state government to take strict action against the incident.

Association secretary Jayanta Daimary while expressing deeply concerned into the incident, demanded strict investigation against teacher murder case that shocked among the society.

He has urged the government and district administration to initiate strong measures against the incident.

Meanwhile, police so far arrested two person who was involved with the incident and detained several six other persons for interrogation. Police informed that the investigation is going on into the incident.
